The Russian Association of Oil and Gas
Equipment Producers comprises all major Russian manufacturers of machinery and
equipment for oil and gas sector. The main goal of the Association is to provide
support to its members in promoting their products to new markets. The Association
represents the interests of its 145 members on a permanent basis in the government
of the Russian Federation, federal ministries, to the leaders of Russia’s
constituent regions, in the Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
The Association provides advisory
services and offers promotional support to foreign companies planning to use Russian
equipment in development of oil and gas fields in the territory of the Russian
Federation. At the request of its members the Association looks for foreign partners
capable to promote Russian oil and gas equipment to international markets as well.
The Russian Association of Oil and Gas
Equipment Producers is headed by a well-known Russian industrialist Yuri Maslyukov,
ex-First Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation. The Association possesses
a rich experience of arranging large-scale industrial fora in Moscow and elsewhere
in the Russian Federation gathering chief executives of oil and gas companies
and manufacturing businesses.
The Association is compiling now
an English-language directory of Russian oil and gas equipment. The directory
is going to be adapted to meet requirements of foreign customers. The Association
is ready to assist foreign companies in obtaining preliminary appraisal of Russian
suppliers.
